This study intended to find the CALP (cognitive/academic language proficiency) level of students in the use of Filipino. Specifically, this present study aimed to identify at which cognitive skill the students at the tertiary level were highest (strongest) in the use cf Filipino. Likewise, it sought to identify the cognitive skill at which the present sample was
lowest (weakest) in the range of Bloom's taxonomy.
